PAST EVENT: 18th Century Clockmaking in East Windsor” with Tom Vaughn

Clockmaker and historian Tom Vaughn held a demonstration on 18th century clockmaking. With a focus on East Windsor clockmaker Daniel Burnap, Tom brought a variety of original and reproduction tools identical to those used in Burnap’s shop. We saw working treadle lathe, and watched how Burnap would have cut perfect gears on a wheel cutting engine. THANK YOU to everyone that came out for this amazing talk and THANK YOU to Tom Vaughn for joing us! TomVaughnclocks.com
