Hi,
I will forward this to the appropriate person and we will be in touch.
Thank you for writing.
My name is Jeff Hodlin and I was wondering if you could send a brochure of the Scantic Academy Museum my address is 124 Sabina Dr. Southington CT 06489. Thanks.
Hi Jeff! We’ll send that right away!
My name is Daphne Bogart and I am looking for information on the Stoughton Family. My great great grandmother was Sarah Jane Stoughton (born around 1822-1824 in New York, but was buried, I believe in Windsor…East or South) (she married Philetus Gordon). I was told by a cousin, that she was a descendent of Thomas Stoughton who immigrated to the Americas in 1630. I have had trouble finding Sarah’s parents and grandparents, etc. and am constructing a family tree of starting with Thomas Stoughton very painstakingly. After much searching on Ancestry, I have grown frustrated by not being able to find any information on her. Can you help me and point me in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Should I join the Historical Society? I am a member of my birth city, The Berkeley Historical Society, here in California and find these societies of great value to the community. Thank you in advance, Daphne P.S. I am a retired employee of Bayer, and just read about their bee program donation. So great!
Thank you so much for your comment! I will check in our records to see what we can find. Stoughton is very well known name in town and a Ellsworth Stoughton actually started our historical society! Feel free to e-mail us at eastwindsorhistory@gmail.com so we can provide you with what we find.
